Handy Hints
Grease ramekins to avoid sticking.
Freeze the dairy-free margarine to enable rubbing into the crumble mix.
Creative variations
When entertaining, use mini ramekins to make 10 mini desserts.
For extra flavour add 1 cup of mixed berries, or 1 cup of apple pie filling or fresh stewed apple, or 1 cup of fresh stewed rhubarb to the filling.
Serve with thick custard, double cream or mini icecream squares.
