This world renowned dish originates from the northern region of India where the cuisine is subtle, yet as rich as the great empire that saw its creation. It is believed that the great Mogul Emperor Akbar first tasted and celebrated this dish in the 16th century. The recipe has been passed down over the ages and is most suitable for the whole family to share.
Chicken is the best meat to cook with this sauce; however the subtle flavours also compliment other meats, seafood or vegetables. The flavour of honey and almond meal combined with cream, yoghurt and a hint of butter make this sauce a great meal solution.
